BIOGRAPHY

Annie Love is one of the most versatile female artists on the circuit at this time

From 1930s music in an outstanding Wartime Show, touching each and every decade from 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s, and including a fantastic Country & Western show, Annie eloquently has an expansive repertoire that means that she is suitable for almost any occasion, and almost any venue – she does not cover Rap, heavy rock, or R & B!!!!

Since a very early age, Annie has been on the stage and in the limelight.  Always winning the lead parts in the school productions, and then following on with a part in a show at the Young Vic theatre in London, Annie aspired to be in the spot light from a young age.  She was even part of a production company that took the stage show Joseph to Holland, and enjoyed numerous performances out there.

After stepping away from showbiz for a while, Annie took a couple of years off, to concentrate on a ‘normal’ career, however, not enjoying that one bit, back in 1997 Annie went to work as an all around Entertainer for First Choice holidays starting off in Zante, (where she also moonlit in a Band 3 nights a week) then working in Crete and Fuerteventura, before finally coming back to the UK, to start off her music career here.  Whilst working as the Entertainer, Annie got invaluable experience at standing on the stage, and hosting specific events, learning to communicate and interact with the audience, as well as extensive Cabaret experience, which she feels stood her in good stead with the work she currently does now, and the other areas she wishes to move into.

Once back in the UK, Annie set about getting on the local pub, club and cabaret circuit, and developing her act and repertoire (which now incorporates over 500 songs from all different genre and decades) and she also specialised different shows, including the Wartime Experience (where she dresses in various military costumes and sings songs from the 1930s and 40s), County Roads (including Queens of Country) Show, 50s Rock and Roll Show, 60s Show and Back to School Show.

Annie has also been fortunate to work abroad with her music, landing gigs in New Zealand, Australia, and working for 18 months out in Spain, doing cabaret 5 nights per week.  Also a talented song writer, Annie co-wrote, produced and performed an album in 2006 alongside another talented musician, which has had interest from Nashville in the USA.  The negotiations on this are still ongoing.

All this adds to a very dynamic and all round versatile entertainer.

The next thing Annie wishes to do is to entertain the troops abroad as she feels that she would like to be able to bring a smile and hopefully some cheer to our boys out on the front line.

 So, watch this space ……..
